Adaptive Engineering USA LLC is a professional engineering firm. Our business is focused on the design, manufacture and support of ground support equipment for the aviation industry. Adaptive was established in1975 and initially produced wheelchair lifts for the regional aircraft market. Since that time, our equipment can be found across North America being used by leading regional and mainline airlines. We have an in-house engineering and design group that is responsible for working with customers to determine their unique needs and to incorporate solutions to these needs into our products. We produce stock as well as custom items, depending on the customer request.

Product support is also provided by an in-house team. In most cases, parts ship within 48 hours of the order being placed. Adaptive recognizes that parts and service is a critical part of the service that we provide and we strive to excel in this area.

The current product range includes all kinds of passenger boarding equipment, including passenger airstairs, crew stairs, ADA compliant boarding ramps and jet way ramps, ADA compliant wheelchair lifts and jetbridge adapters. We also manufacture baggage handling equipment including baggage carts and bag check carts, jetbridge bag lifts, belt loaders and material handling equipment for electric wheelchairs and scooters. We also provide a range of catering equipment.
