Services a Range of Aircraft
This unit is designed to service a range of sill heights. A high quality, low maintenance hydraulically powered scissor lifting mechanism Is standard on each unit. The floor of the cargo container is set at the approximate height of the aircraft, allowing the carts to roll directly onto the aircraft. This eliminates the expense and maintenance associated with lifting the entire cargo container. If a greater range of sill heights must be served, the Express Catering Vehicle with scissor lift would be appropriate. Aircraft up to the A320 can be serviced with this unit.
Loading the Vehicle
The floor of the Express Catering Vehicle is set at loading dock height, making the loading of the vehicle simple and fast. Multiple trucks can be positioned one behind the other at a loading dock, and access to all is possible across the trucks in front - speeding cycle times and reducing queuing at commissary loading docks. The vehicle also comes complete with a rear lift to allow ground loading of catering carts into the cargo container.
Electric Drive
The chassis features a high efficiency automotive axle and rugged steel frame construction. Power comes from a reliable 48 Volt motor, with a long run-time per charge. Features in include on-board diagnostics, low voltage and over current protection, and an on-board sealed charger. Maximum speed of 18 mph. Single charge provides up to 30 mile range. Higher capacity battery pack available as an option. Charging time is 6 hours. High speed chargers available.
Gas Drive
The chassis features a high efficiency automotive axle and rugged steel frame construction. 13 HP, 391 cc air cooled engine with instant ignition start-up. Features include a constantly variable transmission and a 2 stage air cleaner. Maximum speed of 18 mph.
Variable height
The Express Catering Vehicle is compatible with the range of aircraft between the RJ and the A320 family of aircraft

Warranty
Comprehensive two-year warranty. Full after sales backup and assistance - includes 48 hour parts delivery in most cases - applies to every unit. Adaptive Engineering USA LLC warrants the Express Stairs to be free from manufacturing or material defects for two years from the date the product was invoiced. damage caused by vandalism or abuse is not covered in this warranty. Drive train and powerplant warranty is 1 year.
